Abstract
Lymph node evaluation remains integral in the management of breast cancer for prognostic and therapeutic purposes. The introduction of sentinel lymph node biopsy has revolutionized axillary surgery, presenting new challenges relating to clinical implications and quality which will be reviewed in this article. J. Surg. Oncol. 2009;99:194–198. © 2008 Wiley‐Liss, Inc.
